Awaken Generation is a movement whose purpose is to ignite a passion among the Christian generation of today. We want to see believers fall back in-love with Jesus Christ and rise out of luke-warmness. Our desire is to see the body of believers walk out our faith as true followers of Christ in this dark world. As ONE unified body and with ONE Mission and one Passion, that is Jesus Christ, we want to cry out to heaven with prayer, worship, and an authentic Christ-like lifestyle that will transform our communities with the message and power of the cross. 

In 2015, Keith and Liz Cashmus experienced a holy discontent that led them to be dissatisfied with the status quo of merely attending church week in and week out. As Former Missionaries from Youth With A Mission (YWAM) and leaders of a large church in Michigan (USA), they desired to see the church have a bigger impact on it's local community and the world around them. This led to this movement. 

Keith and Liz have been actively involved in various ministry services over the last 9 years. Their experience includes the following: Missions, Worship Leading, Discipleship Training School (YWAM) staff, public speaking, and head of ministries with the YWAM base where they worked with youth, Kid zone, local church outreach, street kids ministries, HIV/AIDS support groups, and itinerate ministries. In recent years, Keith and Liz served as leaders for a college ministry and Keith is an active elder at his local church. During this time Liz also served as a mentor for girls at local public schools and led a women's bible study group.  Keith and Liz have travelled to 6 different countries preaching the gospel and working with diverse ministries. These countries include South Africa, Ghana, Mauritius, La reunion, Germany, Holland, India and the United States of America.  

 We believe the power of God is already at work and is seeking generations who are hungry for him. Generations who are no longer satisfied with following the status quo of just going to church and leaving no tangible impact in their communities. We want to see generations who are willing to live on the edge and not be ashamed of the Gospel. We want to be a part of what God is doing by following His lead. Our goal is to unify believers from all generations and denominations to work together to bring about God’s kingdom purpose. This is not for the faint of heart or the “average Christian”, but for the hungry and those seeking more. Join the movement as we, together, awaken the sleeping giant, the church.
